Obituary
Dr. Abraham Rubin, 81, loving husband of Lindy for over 46 years; beloved father of Adam (Taryn) Rubin, Rachel (Peter) DaPuzzo and Benjamin (Melodie) Rubin; treasured grandpa of Jackson, Allegra, Lila and Goldie; cherished brother of Morris (Lucy), Sam (Merle) and Harold (Marta); dear friend to many. Abraham was a well-known and respected OB/GYN. Dr. Rubin worked many years at Michael Reese and Evanston Hospitals and served as treasurer of The Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology in South Africa. He will be sadly missed by all who loved and respected him. Synagogue service Friday (today) 11:00 AM at Beth Emet, The Free Synagogue, 1224 Dempster, Evanston. Interment following service at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
